Cyber Security
Availability can be a threat to the security of industrial processes and critical systems
The connectivity of industrial automation control systems, along with real-time availability of production data, can be an advantage, but also a significant risk to your business due to the exposure of critical system components to potentially serious consequences.
ATO can manage the entire OT cybersecurity lifecycle, ensuring the secure and reliable operation of your OT systems.
Schedule an inspection of your facility...

How does ATO establish OT system cybersecurity?
The process consists of several steps, which are specific to individual industries and types of facilities, but simply put, this process can be outlined in three steps.
1 / We assess the risks

We will investigate all aspects of your organization’s operations: people, equipment, processes, and suppliers to identify potential vulnerabilities that could compromise normal business operations if exploited.
The investigation varies depending on the type of industry and facility, but typically includes:
- Site inspection,
- Interviews with employees,
- Analysis of technical documentation and blueprints,
- Collection of equipment data (asset inventory),
- Analysis of system configuration and installed software,
- Network traffic scanning, and more.
After passive data collection, our engineers and cybersecurity experts will propose possible countermeasure.
2 / We design and implement countermeasures

Once we are aware of potentially dangerous scenarios, we will propose a series of administrative and technical countermeasures, ranging from security policies, rules, procedures, and operational manuals to hardware and software solutions.
We can also assist you in implementing cybersecurity measures for your facility
3 / We maintain cybersecurity systems

To keep risks at an acceptable level, continuous active monitoring of the implemented technical and administrative measures is recommended.
If there is a change in the OT system, a new analysis should be conducted, and additional countermeasures introduced.
As part of system maintenance, there should also be a mechanism for incident detection and reporting, along with a planned incident response procedure and a disaster recovery plan with clear guidelines for incident forensics.
Croatian Institute for Cybersecurity
ATO is one of the founding members of the Croatian Institute for Cybersecurity, which connects and advises users, facilitates knowledge exchange, education, and professional growth, and introduces them to best practices and approaches in cybersecurity.
